Tag Archives: creative wedding photographyDuring our initial phone call, I remember Mandy mentioning that she had something random to tell me which got me really curious. I found out from her that me, Mandy and Calvin all went to the same school (Where they met) and that Fong Tran was a former co-worker of Mandy’s on campus! The backyard wedding was all planned out and assembled by Mandy and Calvin themselves at their own house and as the day unfolded, there were a lot of hilarious moments and little details throughout the house that represent who they are.
Calvin is a huge fan of the San Jose Sharks, so naturally the door games were planned with his favorite sport in mind; with a twist for him and his groomsmen! Calvin being quizzed on his knowledge about Mandy with a spoonful of Sriracha for him and his groomsmen for getting wrong answers.

Originally from the east coast, Sheila and Ben met while in college but at different schools. From that point on, they moved out west on a road trip, stopping at every national park until they settled in California and now here they are celebrating their special day at the Cow Track Ranch in Nicasio, CA! The old barns, greenhouse, rusted tractors, wildlife roaming the area, hills, the surreal sunset, and with the touch of Melissa and her team from Plum Couture Events all made this ranch the perfect venue for a rustic wedding. Mariya and Mike’s wedding took place on a hot sunny day at Saratoga Springs and then at chilly Burlingame. Their day was filled with a festive crowd that danced and sang the night away and also the craziest cake smashed I’ve ever captured so far. Mariya and Michael: Thanks for letting me be a part of your special day and Mariya, it’s an honor to be working with a fellow UC Davis Alumni. Venue: Wedgewood Crystal Springs
